1. Introduction

These Terms & Conditions govern your use of the website www.icaruslabs.co.uk (hereafter referred to as “the Website”) and the products and services provided by Icarus Labs, a trading division of Icarus Group Ltd (referred to as ‘we’, ‘us’, or ‘our’). By accessing or using the Website, you agree to these Terms & Conditions.

1. Definitions
   • ‘Customer’ refers to any individual or entity purchasing products or services from Icarus Labs.
   • ‘Products’ refer to the laboratory consumables and related items supplied by Icarus Labs.
   • ‘Services’ refer to any additional support, advice, or training provided by Icarus Labs related to laboratory operations.
2. Orders and Payment Terms
   • All payments must be made within 30 days from the date of invoice.
   • Acceptable payment methods are BACS and online payments.
   • We reserve the right to withhold any deliveries or suspend services if payment terms are not met.
3. Delivery and Returns
   • Notice must be given to us of any goods not received within 20 days from the dispatch date stated on the invoice.
   • Any shortage or damage must be notified within 48 hours of receipt of goods.
   • Complaints will only be accepted if made in writing via email within 14 days of receipt of goods.
   • No goods may be returned without prior authorisation from Icarus Labs.
4. Liability and Warranty
   • We do not accept liability for any damage, misuse, or improper application of the products by customers.
   • Products are guaranteed to meet the specifications provided at the time of sale but are subject to proper storage and handling conditions.
   • Icarus Labs disclaims any liability for issues arising from the improper storage or use of products by customers.
5. Data Protection and Privacy
   • We collect the necessary personal data to process your order, including your name, contact details, and payment information.
   • We adhere to UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018 in handling your data. Please refer to our Data Protection Policy for further details.
   • Your personal data will be retained as specified in our Data Retention Policy.
6. Intellectual Property
   • All brands, trademarks, intellectual property, and website content, including text, images, and product descriptions, are solely the property of Icarus Group Ltd.
   • You may not use, reproduce, or distribute any of the website content without express written permission from us.
7. Website Usage
   • You are prohibited from engaging in activities that compromise the security or functionality of the Website, including but not limited to hacking, spamming, or using any harmful code.
   • We reserve the right to restrict or terminate access to the Website for users who violate these terms.
8. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
   • These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the United Kingdom.
   • Any disputes arising under these terms shall first be resolved through good faith negotiations between the parties.
   • If the parties are unable to resolve the dispute within 30 days, the matter shall be referred to mediation in accordance with the rules of the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC).
   • If mediation fails, the dispute shall be settled by arbitration in accordance with the ICC rules, and the decision of the arbitrator shall be final and binding.
