Syringe Filter Size Selection Guide

Syringe filters are single-use, membrane-based devices used for the removal of particle impurities from solutions and gases. They’re convenient, ready-to-use and are typically used prior to analysis by methods such as High-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC), Ion chromatography (IC), Gas chromatography (GC), Inductively Coupled Plasma Spectroscopy (ICP) and dissolution testing.

Syringe filters are categorised by three essential features – size, membrane type and filter housing. All features must be compatible with the application and solution or gas being filtered.
